1.Compliance with Laws and regulations
This office shall comply with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act and the Certified Administrative Procedures Legal Specialist Act regarding the handling of personal information of clients obtained in the course of services.
2.Privacy Protection
This office shall take utmost care in protecting the privacy of clients in performance of commissioned tasks (including related tasks).
3.Acquisition of Personal Information
This office shall obtain personal information of clients only within the scope necessary for the purpose of carrying out commissioned tasks (including related tasks), primarily with the consent of clients, through lawful and fair means.
4.Use of Personal Information
This office shall use personal information of clients in a lawful and appropriate manner. If there arises a need to use personal information beyond the scope of the aforementioned purposes, it shall be used only with the consent of clients.
5.Confidentiality
This office shall not disclose personal information of clients to others or use it for improper purposes. This office shall also maintain confidentiality after the termination or cancellation of contracts.
6.Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
This office shall not provide personal information of clients to any third parties except in the following cases:
(1) With prior consent of clients
(2) Based on legal requirements
(3) In exceptional situations specified by the Personal Information Protection Act where prior consent of clients is not required
7.Security Measures for Personal Information Management
This office shall implement and maintain necessary physical and technical security measures to protect personal information of clients from leakage, loss, or damage.
8.Response to Requests for Disclosure of Personal Information
In accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, this office shall appropriately respond to requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, and suspension of use regarding personal information held by this office when such requests are made by clients themselves.
9.Presentation of Confidentiality Agreement
Upon entering into a contract with clients, this office shall provide clients with “Confidentiality Agreement Regarding the Handling of Personal Information.”
